Summary:

The Payroll Associate compiles employee time, new hire, union and payroll data from time sheets and other records. They review time sheets, wages and other information in order to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies. This position also performs tasks for the Payroll Manager in order to complete weekly payrolls and reports.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Process payroll timely and accurately
Review new hire setup, employee changes, and perform a reconciliation between ADP & View Point
Enter time sheet data and reconcile weekly payroll registers
Assist with distribution of weekly pay checks/stubs
Assist job site with payroll questions
Assist with union reporting
Assist Payroll Clerk II as needed
Enter wage withholding information
Review tax information for accuracy
Qualifications:

Knowledge of PR processes and computer skills
Good communication skills with a team player attitude
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning payroll financial information
1-2 years prior business experience is preferred
Experience with Viewpoint and ADP preferred
High School Graduate
